New men are always welcome to join us between October and April on Thursday nights at 8.30pm in Denham Village Hall. Absolute beginners, and experienced dancers are all equally welcome. After practice we refresh ourselves at our favourite hostelry The Land of Liberty. Give our Bagman a call beforehand to find out more.
From the beginning of May to mid August we dance out at pubs on Thursday evenings, and also at other functions. Some years include a trip where our displays of English tradition and folk culture have never failed to win us friends or to be immensely enjoyable.
We have always followed in the tradition of Men's Morris; its not that we believe that women cannot or must not dance 'The Morris'. Far from it. In the wide world of morris tradition there are men's sides, women's sides and mixed sides. Grand Union Morris, a mens side, will meet and dance out with any morris side because we enjoy it and enjoy sharing it.
